The Technical Office consists of three departments: street-park, property, and water and sewage, with approximately 40 employees. We work every day to ensure that our residents have access to clean water, functioning sewage systems, safe traffic, and secure and pleasant environments in the municipality. We manage the municipality's properties and lead projects for new constructions. We plan and maintain green areas, playgrounds, plantings, and park trees so that our residents and visitors can experience a green, vibrant, and attractive living and recreational environment.

Job Responsibilities

Your main responsibilities include maintaining and ensuring the operation of the municipal water and sewage pipelines.

Tasks such as valve operation, flushing of pipes, and clearing of blockages are part of the job. Work within construction projects and service/maintenance of storage and construction machinery is also relevant. There are good opportunities to work on improvements, digitization, and optimization.

On-call duty is included in the position. The job is based at the municipal storage facility in Vaggeryd.

Qualifications

You have a high school diploma, preferably with relevant work experience in the field. It is an advantage if you have training in water and sewage or land and construction.

We prefer candidates with good experience in similar jobs. We are looking for a driven, responsible, and independent person (as solitary work may occur).

Good computer skills are required as several tasks are performed in a digital environment. You must therefore be able to handle modern technology on mobile devices, tablets, and computers.

A valid driver's license (B) is required; a BE license is an advantage.
